We Only Write for One Kind of Traveler

Most travel sites try to serve everyone — solo backpackers, honeymoon couples, business travelers, and families — with the same lists of "top 10 things to do." 18Future doesn't do that. Every guide on this site is written for one audience: parents traveling with kids, roughly ages 2 to 16.

Why That Focus Matters

A "top attraction" for a childless traveler and a genuinely good stop for a family are often different things. A three-hour guided walking tour might be the highlight of someone's trip and a disaster with a four-year-old. We write with that difference in mind — every itinerary considers pacing, nap schedules, realistic attention spans, and the logistics (strollers, car seats, picky eaters) that generic travel content skips.

How We Build Our Guides

Each destination guide follows the same structure: best time to visit with kids specifically, a realistic cost breakdown for a family of four, a day-by-day itinerary paced for shorter attention spans, and practical notes on transport, food, and documents. We're upfront when a "must-see" attraction isn't actually worth it with young kids, and we flag realistic trade-offs rather than presenting every stop as a must-do.

What We're Not

We're an informational travel guide, not a booking engine. We don't manage reservations or payments — our hotel and restaurant sections explain what to look for and what questions to ask, and we link out to official sources for visa and entry requirements rather than presenting ourselves as a substitute for embassy guidance. As the site grows, we plan to add trip-planning tools and, eventually, booking integrations — but the guides themselves will always come first.
